I'm not getting much help from ATi, maybe someone here can help. I just purchased a system with an ATi 8500 in it. I want to add TV Tuner/capture functionality to the system, so I've been eyeing the ATi All in Wonder 7500 as an addon card. I'm running Windows XP Professional.

1) Will these two cards work together?
2) Will I be able to continue to use the DVI on my 8500 and the VGA (through the adapter) on the 7500 to dual head the system?

Thanks in advance, I'd hate to buy one just to find out. Although if I do I'll be sure to post my findings.

normally they are 2 AGP version graphic cards.
i don't know if you can find an pci ati aiw 7500.

& i doubt they can work together (especially about memory conflicts) but im not sure.
i think the best is to ask it to the ATI Support.

there is maybe another solution.
perhaps you can buy an daughter add-on card directly for the ATI 8500 to expand its capacities. but generally these little add-on cards are very difficult to find.

for the last thing, i think you can do it if they are both compatibles.

at last, i think the best solution is to exchange your ATI 8500 with few dollars to the ATI AIW 8500DV

if you know you don't know, the way could be more easy.

The ATI all-in-wonder Radeon 7500 will not be made in PCI. Since you only have 1 agp port, the question is moot.

Get the ATI TV-Wonder capture card instead. You'll then get the same functionality as the all-in-wonder.
