Hi,

my hardware configuration:
AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition | HDZ965FBGMBOX
Asrock 990FX Extreme4 | 970 EXTREME4
Club3D Radeon HD 7950 royalKing | CGAX-7957O2
Corsair CMV8GX3M2A1333C9
Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 ST1000DM003, 1TB
Antec TruePower Trio 650 GB | TP3-650 EC
Antec P182 Advanced Super Mid Tower | 0761345-09182-4

I installed this system 3 weeks ago and it worked fine until yesterday. 5 mins after turning the pc on, it just went dead. Pushing the power button doesn't have any result. It stays dead.

--> after some research, I noticed that the PC boots if I disconnect the powersupply of my graphics card.
When the power of my graphics card is connected, my cpu-fan moves 2mm when I try to boot.

--> when installing my old graphics card, I can boot (only in safe mode, but that's probably a driver issue).
I must mention that this card (nvidia 8800 GT) only needs half power compared to the Radeon 7950. The radeon needs 2x6pins, the nvidea 1x6pins.
I tried both 6-pin connections for the nvidia card and they both work.

=> Is my assumption correct that there is a hardware problem with my graphics card? Or are there still other options?
I have guarantee, but I don't wan't to send something to the store if I'm not sure that something is wrong with that component.

thanks!
