IBM 120 GXP

I just installed the new IBM 120 GXP (40 Gig, 7200) HDD as a slave to my old slow drive and was wanting to transfer all info. from my old drive to the new and switch the master/slave settings. Problem; windows won't transfer because it's already in use.

Do I:

A) Install Win. on the new drive, then transfer all info after switching master/slave, or

B) You have a better faster easier way, I hope I hope

Do it in DOS with a boot disk. Or you can ghost your entire old drive onto your new one.

Get a program called "Drive Image 4", made by Powerquest. It has a disk copy option.

If you can find it, there was a special package offer where you get Partition Magice 6 and Drive Image 4 together. Its a good bargain.
