OS Help On New Gaming Rig Build

Hey Guys,

I have been planning on building a new PC for gaming (maybe some of you have seen my posts) but I initially planned on not including a disc drive because I didn't see the point when all the PC games I play I acquire through Steam or other digital downloads but then I realized how will I install Windows on it? Is there another of doing this? Also I plan on using Windows 7 but I've never bought just an OS before, do they come with a lot of the crappy programs that come on pre-built computers?

No they shouldn't come with all the additional crap. You can either install it via a bootable USB or over a LAN connection. Bootable USB will be simpler.
