Hi guys and gals... I would like some help, if you will. (please!! :p )

I have got some money to spend on a new graphics card for my rather bad PC, as I wish to play some games on it (not the latest though, mind you).

Here are the graphics cards I am looking at (I think they are both low profile, at pc world in the UK):

Radeon 6670: http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/asus-amd-radeon-hd-6670-p...

Radeon 5450: http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/sapphire-ati-radeon-hd-54...

My current computer specs are as follows:

Operating System
Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3 (build 2600)
Install Language: English (United States)
System Locale: English (United Kingdom)
Installed: 22/03/2010 16:43:02

Processor
3.00 gigahertz Intel Pentium D
16 kilobyte primary memory cache
2048 kilobyte secondary memory cache
64-bit ready
Multi-core (2 total)
Not hyper-threaded

Main Circuit Board
Board: Dell Inc. 0FH884
Serial Number: ..CN1374065M00PJ.
Bus Clock: 800 megahertz
BIOS: Dell Inc. A11 11/30/2006
BIOS: Dell Inc. A11 11/30/2006

Memory Modules/RAM
3064 Megabytes Usable Installed Memory
Slot 'DIMM_1' has 512 MB
Slot 'DIMM_3' is Empty
Slot 'DIMM_2' has 512 MB
Slot 'DIMM_4' has 2048 MB

As you can see not that great... That's what I get for buying cheap and refurbished, haha.

Anyway, I want to be able to play games such as Minecraft, Arma 2, left 4 dead 1 and 2, world of tanks etc. at least on their low/medium settings with little to no lag.... I know this is a far stretch but might as well try I believe!

Thank you for the help, and merry Christmas!

The HD6670 you linked is not a low-profile card. Probably just as well as I doubt your power supply could handle it. Of the remaining two options, the HD6570 would be the better option and should run from only the power available from the PCI-E slot (no extra power connections required from the power supply).
