Does older drivers hold back good graphics?

So i have a Nvidia EVGA geforce GTX 560 ti and i recently installed it, so i was wondering, i keep getting a notification for updated driver installation, does that help with my graphics?

QUite often it does as new drivers tend to optimize peformace and sometime specific optimizations are made for specific games. You can read what the update contains and see what applies to you. Since your card is older there may not be anything in it for you but the good news is that it usually doesnt hurt.
