Need card for $150 or less

Its Chirstmas time and I got some cash and looking for a good gpu. I know $150 is low for a graphics card but it's what i got, are there any cards in this price range that can run most games such as Borderlands 2, skyrim, and bf3 at 1080p with at least 30fps?

Power supply: PIXXO 500W PSU

More about need card less
  1. Im not good at graphic cards, but this doesn't seem to bad at the price range if im not mistaken

but you might need to spend a little more if you wanna get more than 1gb of graphics ram, and that is surely needed
  2. AMD 6950
  3. This would be your best option any less and your pretty much wasting your money

  4. Actually i found this which don't expect to much. You are cutting it close.I am not sure what kind of fps you should get in those games. It's as low and cheap as it gets for on such a little budget http://pcpartpicker.com/mr/superbiiz/asus-video-card-hd7770dct1gd5

    Gtx 650 ti.

This is probably the best you can get for your budget. And should get you 30 fps or better in those games at 1080p.

Plus it comes with free assasins creed 3.
  6. I Think i would go for the gigabyte gtx 650ti maybe i costs a little bit more but i have that 1 more gb of ram, and from my exprience that is really needed.
But well i'm not the one needing it, thats all up to you.

    Good choice! :D
  8. Read the Tom's Video Card guide for that price point for December. They even mention the 7850 being noticeably better, except for it's avg. price point of 180 dollars. So http://pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-video-card-fx785aznl4 for 130 is a better option than the 650ti.
