Galaxy GTX 660 TI vs Gigabyte GTX 660 TI?

Hi there!

Im building my first gaming pc and i have came down to these 2 cards couldn't find any benchmarks on both of these brand 660 ti's on YouTube or Google :/

...which GPU is better at producing more FPS @ 1920x1080 resolution.

Also which one of these 2 cards can overclock better than the other to get more FPS?

really those are both "vanilla" cards with basic stock speeds - nothing to write a review about.

though if there is any indication of being about to overclock; i would get the gigabyte with the better cooling . . . but it does mostly come down to the "luck of the draw" with the actual chip.

The only difference I have came across is sound. I chose the Galaxy, the 3GB version...and it is quite quite. Still the largest sound output of my system is the case fans of my Antec 902 enclosure (even on low).

We have the same case so this helps alot

Gigabyte N66TWF2-2GD is 941MHz GPU/6008MHz Mem, Galaxy 66NPH7DV6XXZ is 915MHz GPU/6008MHz Mem, thus Gigabyte N66TWF2-2GD is a little bit faster. As for the acoustics, N66TWF2-2GD equipped 100mm fans, should be quieter than 66NPH7DV6XXZ's blowing fan.

I meant to say quite quiet ha. But I did say Galaxy Cant really give you much info on how quiet the gigabyte is.

I just found this card on NCIX for $235. That or the normal 660 non ti for $195. Hmm. YOLO I'm going for the TI.
