Here is a new gaming rig that I plan to buy very soon. Comments ?


Case: NZXT Phantom 410

CPU: Intel Core i7 3770K

Motherboard: ASRock Z77 Professional Fatal1ty

GPU: Asus GTX 680 Direct CU II TOP 2 GB GDDR5

Power supply: Thermaltake Toughpower Grand 750W

HDD: Western Digital Caviar Black 1 TB

SSD: Samsung 840 Pro Series 128 GB

Memory: Mushkin Enhanced Redline 4x4 GB - 1600 MHz


I want to replace the original fans of the case by Noctua fans, and also add one on the side. Plus, is a fan controller a good investment ?

Get a PSU from Antec, XFX, Corsair, Seasonic. Other than that, looks good.

What games are you going to play? Cuz in some games i7 doesnt bring any advantage over i5 (only 1%) but in some uders can bring 25%+. But it is good computer.
Normal (case) fans are usually enough but if youre going to overclock a lot than you really need better ones. If you need quiet sistem than fan control is good uderwise is just waste of money ( buy couple of icecreams instead if you want ).Ask if you need anything more
