Is this a good gaming pc?

Hello, this is my first build and was wondering if this is a good gaming build.

CPU: AMD FX-8350 4.0GHz 8-Core Processor
Motherboard: Asus M5A97 R2.0 ATX AM3 Motherboard
Memory: G.Skill Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-2133 Memory
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card: MSI Radeon HD 7770 GHz Edition 1GB Video Card
Case: NZXT Tempest 410 Elite (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: Rosewill Hive 550W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply
Optical Drive: Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer

Everything looks good, you'll have to upgrade your GPU if you want to play demanding games at near max settings though.

I'd get a FX-6300 and then a HD 7850.

Everything looks pretty good, but for max graphics, you might need a better GPU. Also, I would go with Intel, but that's just personal preference.

generally look for a Corsair CX500 any xfx 550W/450W or antec neo eco 500/620W and pick te cheapest one of them all
