Buy a new monitor because it's a waste of money if you spend 1k on a build just to use it on a 1280 x 1024 res.
A $500 build can max everything out on 1280 x 1024.

I would definitely disagree with the choice of power supply. Green power supplies generally aren't more energy efficient than they claim to be.
