Hi there!

I'm build a system from scratch . I have a case, power supply (460W), DVD, monitor, etc..
I need a motherboard, CPU, Ram and video card but lets leave the video out for now.

... Everyday use - surfing, movies, videos AND games

Originally I was going for A10-5800k with A75 MOBO, 8 gigs of RAM (1600) and my intentions were to pair the APU with HD6670 for crossfire.
Some guys told me that for better gaming experience I should go with Athlon X4 750k + HD7700 - which is fine by me.

The I was told I should get AM3+ socket not FM2. More specifically - CPUs like FX-4300, FX-4170 or even FX-6300 which is 6 six core.

So what are your thoughts?

As you can see I'm going for AMD because of the pricing.

So if I'm going to add PCI video card there is no point of me buying the A10-5800k. Right?
All in all its something like - Athlon X4 750k (FM2) vs FX-4300 vs FX-4170 vs FX-6300 (all AM3+) mainly for gaming performance.
I don't do rendering, rainbow tables, editing, coding...
Cheers!

And a 7770 or better.

So -FX-6300 won't be an "overkill" considering I'm going to pair it, lets say with 7750?

Will there be a major drop in gaming performance if I go with Athlon X4 750k + HD7750, 6 to 8 gigs of Ram?

Well if it's just for gaming you should be spending more on graphics than CPU.

It IS mainly for gaming experience.
I am willing to go for the 750k + more expensive card than the HD7750.
