No HDMI detected?

Hey guys

I just finished installing my new Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo on my CPU and now when I turn my PC on the HDMI detects nothing on my screen. I switched from the stock CPU cooler to the Evo. For some reason it makes me think THAT has something do with my HDMI not being detected, oddly.
My GPU(s) are 2x Gigabyte GTX 570s in SLI. I've tried plugging in the HDMI cable to both but no luck.
Also another thing I noticed; I turn the PC on and then after 2 seconds it turns off itself then starts again. So I'm completely out of ideas on what to do. I myself don't see how it could be related to the new CPU cooler, but it just may be.

Any help is appreciated, thank you!

  1. Never mind. Fixed it.

My CPU cooler was screwed in too tight to the CPU so I loosened it a little bit. My motherboard is P8z68, and I was getting the '2E' code on the Q-code LED on the motherboard, that means 'memory initialization' apparently, according to the motherboard manual but then when I loosened the CPU cooler a little bit, it bypassed the '2E' error and booted up as normal.

Hope this helps someone in the future who gets a similar problem!
Remember: Don't screw your CPU cooler in too tightttt!

    Happy Holidays everybady.
