I drink lots of different beer. My friends rip on me about that. They say "Pick a GD beer, dammit!" Drives waitresses nuts, too, because I'll want 8 different ones in a row, and they keep trying to just bring the same thing. I just drink that one more than any other.

Well, I don't know that 1337 stuff, so it pretty much flies over my head!

I've got a web cam, somewhere, but don't know how to use it. I used to talk with my brothers on the week end live with it on Mplayer when it was free. When they started charging, I put it up & haven't used it since. I'm not sure it will even run on XP. I had it on 98 it was that long ago.

I can shoot short vids on my digital camera. I play with it sometimes. I just don't do much with movies, like I do with photos..

On MSN and most new IMs, you can use webcam and voice chatting with absolutely no problem. Give the webcam a try with WinXP and see if it detects it. I have an old Quickcam Express from Logitech and it works perfectly on MSN.

It's funny that my binary joke flew through your head LOL! :lol:

And I did use my digicam to shoot that video btw! 640*480 with sound madness baby! Not even the better A80 supports that resolution, compared to my A70. In your face Auburn! :tongue:

That's funny!! I've got the Logitech Quickcam Pro, so it must work then.

Then there's the other problem, I don't like MSN for nothing. One of my clients runs it & PalTalk at the time. I know MSN doesn't do it, but that PalTalk puts spyware on his machine like crazy. He likes the chat thaough, so I'm teaching him how to protect him slef running it. Now those guys really get going there!

Actually, take all the pride you want in the vid capability. Doesn't matter to me at all. I may never use the video capability of any digicam I own. I'm not sure I've even checked out what the 80 does. Video people and still photographers tend to be two different types. I'm a still photographer, obviously. My father's wife has given me 3 video cameras, a Canon, and two Sonys, that she bought and never used, and I've still never used either of them. Hope uses em a bit, but she's a video person.
