I want to be able to run games like BF3 on high/max settings. I have been researching computers for the past few weeks but i'm still not the most knowledgeable in this department. I would appreciate some help with this list. Maybe tell me if it's all compatible with one another or maybe add/replace something with a suggestion or 2. I was also wondering how wise/safe it is for me to build my own pc with my rather weak knowledge in computers? Even with me following tutorials//advice. I used a previous post on custom budget gaming pc's and mix and matched some of them to get thes parts. Thanks

Computer parts:

CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor Dual-Core Processor

No do not purchase a green PSU for a 7970. Make sure it's rated 80+ bronze or better. You want something like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139020

Or this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817207013
