I want to be able to run games like BF3 on high/max settings. I have been researching computers for the past few weeks but i'm still not the most knowledgeable in this department. I would appreciate some help with this list. Maybe tell me if it's all compatible with one another or maybe add/replace something with a suggestion or 2. I was also wondering how wise/safe it is for me to build my own pc with my rather weak knowledge in computers? Even with me following tutorials//advice. I used a previous post on custom budget gaming pc's and mix and matched some of them to get thes parts. Thanks

Computer parts:

CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor Dual-Core Processor
Motherboard: ASRock Z77 Pro3 ATX LGA1155 Motherboard ($89.99 @ Amazon)
Memory: G.Skill Ares Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($41.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($69.99 @ Newegg)
Video Card: XFX Radeon HD 7850 1GB Video Card ($149.99 @ Newegg)
Case: Rosewill REDBONE U3 ATX Mid Tower Case ($49.99 @ Newegg)
Power Supply: Antec EarthWatts Green 750W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V Power Supply ($69.99 @ Newegg)
Optical Drive: Sony AD-7280S-0B DVD/CD Writer ($18.99 @ Newegg)

You need a better card, the 7850 is good, but i'd get either the 2GB version or the 7870 tahiti le.

No do not purchase a green PSU for a 7970. Make sure it's rated 80+ bronze or better. You want something like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
