First time build advice

This is my first build and I did not know the difference between a windows full and a windows OEM?

Do I need a sound board if I only plan on using simple speakers?

Should I steer clear of opened box parts to save a buck or are they okay?

Anything cheaper/better then what I have so far?

Here's what I have so far,

Thanks,
John

OEM is designed for new system builds, and is tied to the mobo it is first installed on.

Get low profile RAM, without heat spreaders, like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... , the spreaders can create a space crunch around your cpu cooler sometimes.

I don't know much about Intel SSD's, I really like OCZ Vertex 4's and, of course, Samsung 840 pros.

I know nothing about monitors, so, yeah....

Basically, though, it looks like a solid build.
