Phenom II x6 1045t Bottleneck a GTX 660 OC?
I have a motherboard the only has a AM3 chip compatibilty this is one of my upgrade path choices. Will it bottleneck http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127699

Dont think it will, the Phenom II's (especially the Hex-Cores) are still good performers.

Wouldn't the FX series Piledriver 8300 be a faster chip?

No i run the 660 ti and previosly the 660 on my Phenom II x4 without facing problems BTW the FX ain't that huge boost from the Phenom II , the Phenom II is still a good Architecture
