Will a gtx 670/7970 bottleneck?

My current system;

Intel i5 650
6gb ddr3 ram 1333hz
sapphire 6870

I'm looking to improve perfomance in WoW and Bf3 Would like 60 + fps on max settings. Money is not a issue so I could upgrade my cpu if i need but i only play games so with a better card would i likley see the performance I am after.

Another this is my psu is a coolermaster gx 450 with 35a @ 12v rail so i should be fine running the gtx 670 however i would have to upgrade psu to use a 7970 as the 7970 and gtx 670 are the same price would it be worth me upgrading psu?

bottleneck: no
new psu: yes

^ +1 - absolutely new PSU to run either of those cards with your rig.

bigcyco's link is gr8 if you have the $$, it's an outstanding valu at that price.
I have that PSU in my sys and very glad I do.

That coolermaster is much better built than most with surprisingly good components,
just that their reputation is so bad, maybe they are turning a new leaf.

I would still upgrade it for either of those 2 cards tho.
Quality 550w to 620w would be fine (even 650w)

http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/Cooler-Master-GX... It's decent psu the only one in the gx range. A 6870 takes 150w tdp and a gtx 670 takes 170 tdp (http://www.hwcompare.com/12549/geforce-gtx-670-vs-radeo...) However If I am to upgrade my psu i might aswel pick up the 7970 as it's a better card.
Hmmm... seems it is one of the very few decent ones cooler master provides my mistake sorry.I know all the rest. ;)

Yeah - I keep both johnny luky's lists ope when I'm on here and
was quite shocked to find that model on the recommended
list especially with 2 gx models on the lemon list
