I am new to building PC's, in fact this is the first PC I have attempted to build. Overall, I would like to be able to play the newest PC games at high to ultra settings while recording the game play and maintaining 120 frames. I have posted my build below, I would appreciate any criticism or helpful pointers. Also, is my PSU high enough or do I need a higher wattage? Thank You.
I am also building a computer from scratch, I own a laptop so I have to purchase everything. So, I'll post my build, with additional options, than I'll talk about that build.

CPU:Intel i7 3770k - $319
HS (Heat Sink): Noctua 6 Dual Heatpipe with 140mm/120mm Dual SSO Bearing Fans CPU Cooler NH-D14 - $80
MOBO: Gigabyte Intel Z77 LGA 1155 Dual UEFI BIOS ATX Motherboard GA-Z77X-UD5H - $176
GFX: EVGA GeForce GTX 680 FTW (For The Win)4096MB - $559

You don't really need a 3770K for your uses and the 680 isn't really necessary when the GTX 670 uses the same processor and is $100 cheaper.

Here is what I would suggest:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($229.99 @ Newegg)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($29.99 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: ASRock Z77 Extreme4 ATX LGA1155 Motherboard ($134.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: G.Skill Ares Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($51.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: OCZ Vertex 4 128GB 2.5" Solid State Disk ($124.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($84.99 @ Newegg)
Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 670 2GB Video Card ($369.99 @ Newegg)
Case: Fractal Design Define R4 w/Window (Titanium Grey) ATX Mid Tower Case ($134.98 @ Newegg)
Power Supply: Corsair Enthusiast 650W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply ($71.98 @ Newegg)
Optical Drive: Samsung SH-224BB DVD/CD Writer ($15.99 @ Newegg)

Then with the difference add whatever monitor, keyboard, and mouse you want. I don't suggest those things as they're mainly personal preference.
