I don't know if this is quite the correct forum for this but I was recently playing around with an old rig that I put together from some parts that I had sitting around when I noticed that the video cards only had one little sli pluggy thing, also being curious I slied them, and they worked like that (until I fried them, separate matter) anyways my good rig does not have an sli setup but the card has two sli pluggy things, my question, why two?

This is what a quad SLI looks like:

The bridge just offers up the communication between the cards to sync the display output, the data still goes through the main PCIE connectors.

okay, I am really new to multiple graphics cards, been building for a while but never had the occasion to play with them I always just assumed that you got an sli bridge with more ports for quad sli? but do you daisy chain them?
