Hi,

I am putting together a new workstation for music production. This will be the only function of the PC, so gaming-related specs are not relevant.

With that in mind, I am hoping to get some opinions about the following setup:

Motherboard:
ASUS P9X79 Deluxe
http://www.asus.com/Motherboard/P9X79_DELUXE/

CPU:
Intel Core i7-3820 3.6GHz
http://ark.intel.com/products/63698/Intel-Core-i7-3820-Processor-10M-Cache-up-to-3_80-GHz

CPU cooler:
Cooler Master Hyper 412S
http://www.coolermaster.com/product.php?product_id=6748

PSU:
Corsair HX 650W 80 Plus
http://www.corsair.com/en/power-supply-units/hx-series-power-supply-units/hx-series-hx650-power-supply-650-watt-80-plus-gold-certified-modular-psu.html

Graphics:
ASUS GeForce 210 1GB Silent
http://www.asus.com/Graphics_Cards/NVIDIA_Series/EN210_SILENTDI1GD3V2LP/

SSD:
Crucial m4 SSD 256GB
http://www.crucial.com/uk/store/partspecs.aspx?IMODULE=CT256M4SSD2

Casing:
Fractal Design Define XL R2 Black Pearl
http://www.fractal-design.com/?view=product&prod=111

I am reusing 24GB of ram from my previous build as well as 3 non-SSD HDDs. I am not planning to overclock the CPU.

In particular, I am unsure if the PSU is sufficient? It's my understanding that it's mostly high-end graphics cards that are very power hungry?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for that link, very helpful! Seems like 650W is more than adequate for my build.
