Dell upgrade

I have a relative that is trying to use a flight simulator on a very old dell desktop. He said that an error message popped up telling him he didn't have sufficient graphics. What I want to know is whether an aftermarket graphics card would be compatible, provided that it uses the same connection. I need to keep it cheap, so I was wondering which low profile video card would work best for this for under $50.

no, but I saw it, and it has really low requirements, as if it was made years ago
