Mid range gaming level ?

Hey guys , is this system good enough as a gaming pc ? Playing at 1366x768 . Games like BF3 , Crysis 2 , Black Ops 2 , etc at Ultra . Possible ?

I'm upgrading . In this build below , I only have the RAM and case . The rest I'm thinking of ordering from Newegg .

CPU : Core i3 2100 SB
Mobo : MSI B75MA-P45
RAM : Kingston 8GB (4GBx2)
GPU : HIS HD 7850 1GB
PSU : Corsair CX500 500W
Case : Gigabyte Sumo Alpha .

You will probably get high settings. On that low resolution you will probably see ultra on some titles. Get an h77 motherboard.

Get the i3-3220 and a h77 board, the asrock h77m is cheap.

A 6-core FX-6300 would be better than the one you proposed .

More futureproof when games use more than 2 cores.

A 7850 2gb will pull MAX 289w.

The cx430 makes 548 watts max as tested. Pulling a constant 430w from it is no issue at all.

You could get a cx500 just to be safe. I probably would, but you could run it on a cx430.

Hi, you won't need that much power for the 7850.

The AMD websites lists at a higher rate because they have to account for the crappy PSUs around and legality reasons.

Exactly, My friend runs a gtx 660 + i5 3470 on a 450w seasonic PSU no problem.

Just get a 450-550w corsair, antec, xfx, seasonic. Any of them will do fine.

It might be worth paying just 5$ more for the corsair CX500, the CX430 will do, but the CX might be better if you want later to add a mid end/high end card.
Also the i3 is a good gaming cpu for the price.

Also that motherboard is an amd 770 chipset not a 970 one, a h77 motherboard from intel has more features.

Its not just $ 5 , its $15 . And I can't go with prices that come with rebates . Because I don't get rebates . I'm from Malaysia , ordering the products through Newegg Malaysia Facebook page , therefore I won't get any rebates .
One last question : Will this PSU handle overclocking ?

Malaysia ? are you sure you'll get the goods ? and free shipping ?
The i3 can't be overclocked, it has a lower power consumption, the card can be, but it will do even with the 7850 OC.
