I am planning on putting the following together:
AMD HD 7970 GE - Graphics
i7 3770k - processor
Samsung 830 - SSD
gigabyte z77-ud5h - motherboard
G SKILL Ares Series 16GB - ram
CM stormtrooper case
Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM 2 TB
Noctua nh-14 cpu fan
Asus 24xDVD-RW Serial ATA Internal OEM Drive DRW-24B1ST
Rosewill 74-In-1 3.5-Inch Internal Card Reader with USB Port 3.0 (RDCR-11003)
I am planning to use a 750w psu ( the Corsair Enthusiast Series TX 750 Watt ATX/EPS 80 PLUS Bronze (TX750)),
but some friends of mine have said that it is not enough, and if I don't put enough psu, my system will overheat, and all of my parts inside my case will melt. I am not entirely sure if he is correct. Do I have enough wattage in my psu to power my build? or do I need more? If I do need another psu, then could you please recommend one for me?
Thank you,
Sam J.
