I am thinking of the following config for my new PC.

CPU : Intel i5 3570K
Motherboard : Asrock Z77 Extreme4
GPU : NVIDIA GTX650 ti 2GB
PSU : Corsair VS650 650Watts
RAM : 2 X Corsair 4GB DDR3 (CMV4GX3M1A1333C9)
Hard Drive : Toshiba 1 TB (DT01ACA100)

Is the good enough for gaming (I play mosly Racing and First Person Shooter games) atleast at 1280 x 720 with high settings.

Will I run into any compatibility issues.

Is it safe to do minor overclocking in this configuration with stock fans.

Thanks in advance.

Hi. Don't get this build if you don't have a better monitor. It would only be a waste of money.

Any i3-3220 or FX-6300 with 7770 will be able to max every game out there with your resolution.

Are you going to buy a new monitor?

Ok then.

How much is your budget. The 650ti is a good card but not that great.

I would always say GPU > CPU.

Where are you from? Where are you going to buy this??

Should I go for AMD FX 8120 and the Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 2GB instead with ASRock 970 Extreme 4 Motherboard? Or do you recomment something else.

You are spending too much on the CPU and not enough on the GPU. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Df4R This build includes a much better GPU and everything is overclockable.

Could you recommend me a good motherboard that will allow me to OC aswell.
February 13, 2013 8:09:27 AM

No OC for the i3-3220. It's a locked CPU.

sorry.

Are there any good CPU within $200 that allow oc.

What about FX 6100?

FX-6300.

The Fx-6100 is trash.

Best get the i3-3220. It's a great CPU even though its not OCable.
