My PC Config

I am thinking of the following config for my new PC.

CPU : Intel i5 3570K
Motherboard : Asrock Z77 Extreme4
GPU : NVIDIA GTX650 ti 2GB
PSU : Corsair VS650 650Watts
RAM : 2 X Corsair 4GB DDR3 (CMV4GX3M1A1333C9)
Hard Drive : Toshiba 1 TB (DT01ACA100)

Is the good enough for gaming (I play mosly Racing and First Person Shooter games) atleast at 1280 x 720 with high settings.

Will I run into any compatibility issues.

Is it safe to do minor overclocking in this configuration with stock fans.

Thanks in advance.

  1. Hi. Don't get this build if you don't have a better monitor. It would only be a waste of money.

Any i3-3220 or FX-6300 with 7770 will be able to max every game out there with your resolution.

Are you going to buy a new monitor?

Yes I am going to get a BenQ LED Full HD 21.5" monitor.
  3. Ok then.

How much is your budget. The 650ti is a good card but not that great.

I would always say GPU > CPU.

Where are you from? Where are you going to buy this??
  4. You are spending too much on the CPU and not enough on the GPU. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Df4R This build includes a much better GPU and everything is overclockable.

  7. Should I go for AMD FX 8120 and the Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 2GB instead with ASRock 970 Extreme 4 Motherboard? Or do you recomment something else.

Would AMD FX8120 and GTX 660 2GB be better.
  10. Just get FX-6300 + 7850.

If budget allows get the 7870. :)

Could you recommend me a good motherboard that will allow me to OC aswell.
  15. No OC for the i3-3220. It's a locked CPU.

    sorry.

Are there any good CPU within $200 that allow oc.

    What about FX 6100?
  17. FX-6300.

    The Fx-6100 is trash.

Best get the i3-3220. It's a great CPU even though its not OCable.
