Hi,

Plz help out my friend 2hottie

He needs a gaming rig for $800 shipped, use newegg

Parts not needed - keyboard/mouse, monitor, operating system

Everything else is needed & he wants a blue ray drive as well.

He'll be connecting a separate dual tuner pvr card, a separate sound card so make sure power supply is a good one. SSD drive is not essential, so u can skip that :pt1cable:

This will be mainly a gaming rig so make it as much powerful as you can & suggest the powerful GPU possible for this build.

last but not least :p
i5 3470 on z75 can OC to 4ghz using turbo and mb is about the same as h77 ones
cooler to oc with
7870xt, one of the best price/perf gpus right now, performs better than 7870ghz
500gb hdd, 500w psu and usb3 case
its a blue ray+dvd+cd writable drive, combo reader is $25 cheaper, best to spend on higher end Mb or graphics or larger hdd or better case
I tried to sacrificre as much as possible to get the best performance without conpromising quality
