First ever build, no post, no beep

Hello guys, pls help me
i build my first buil
phenom 965
msi 760gm-p34
msi 7770 pmd1gd5
kingston hyperx KHX16C9B1R/4
corsair cx430
zalman z9
and an old 2.5 inch laptop hitachi drive

first i installed the psu in the case and grounded it to the wall. and kept it grounded all the time i was building and kept myself grounded
the i carefully unboxed the motherboard grabing from an edge and placed on cardboard box and installed cpu and ram
and then i installed 6 mobo standoffs and installed mobo carefully without touching anything
the installed gpu and hdd and pluged everything
and did cable management
and then i boot and bamm nothing
all my day ruined
all fans spin, psu spin all the time gpu cpu all fans but no post no beep
i troubleshooting using this sites guide
did cmos with on board gpu and discreet but no result
i dont know what i have done wrong
although its my first build but ive been planing it for years and i know what im doing
i wish i had bought an wxpensive board so i could even look at the led but no
im out of luck now
the monitor is good, tested with laptop
speakers get power when pulged in usb port
but mouse and keyboard dont get power
changed ram slot aswell
tried with cpu and mobo only aswell( no ram no gpu)
but no beep no post
pls help me guys ill have to rma this ***
can ram be bad aswell?

solved

i installed the cpu without opening the socket
luckily it survived
now waiting for new thermal paste
