I have a dell xps 8300 desktop with a i-7 2600 and a GPU i want to upgrade along with a new PSU for more watts of power.
I want to buy either a gtx 660 Ti O/C (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127696)
OR
a gtx 670 O/C( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127685) *670 is preferred choice*
I am also buying a PSU with at least 750* watts if anyone knows a good PSU would appreciate it... i know Corsair is good.( also is 750 watts enough for the equipped processor and GPU?

Now i am told that the GPU is limited FOR Dell XPS 8300 and that the 600 series will not work on the dell XPS 8300? is that because of the current PSU or what is the reason? Also what would u need to buy in order for this GPU to work?

well i priced a Corsair hx750 from newegg at around $120 and a nvidia gtx 670 O/C at around $350-370 so basically those 2 were priced at about 500$ range. unless there is a good cheaper PSU I dont know PSU's too well. I also found a CX750 (corsair) for around 85$. i dont mind the pricing too much i want a maximum or 550$ if i have to.

xfx 850 made by seasonic, very good quality :d, and 7970 blows up the 670 ;p

all within ur budget

nvidia isnt better image quality it just has a bit better vsync, but i hardly see that as a great selling point, depends if you care for vsync at all or not,

Hmm I looked and hard OCP site has a nice card but... The one to buy is not listed as the ghz edition but rather the standard and newegg says its around 449.00 for the ghz edition. I don't think that's the GHZ version for 339.00 is it?
