annoying BF2 flight controls bug

hiya folks
I decided to remove the Mouse and primary flight controls,
due to the mouse moving and upsetting my joystick flying at low speeds.
anyway cleared the primary controls and the Joystick controls DONT work.
put the Joystick in primary and nothing in secondary and still doest work.
bit of an annoying one for somebody who ONLY wants to use Joystick for
flying.
