More about basic home server system
  1. if your never going to game with the system then an i3 or a g3 cpu or an amd cpu and mb will be fine. what kind of serving needs to you need the pc to do.
  2. it will run basic file-sharing, iTunes home sharing and Minecraft server. (I would prefer to stick to intel)
  3. An old pentium could handle file sharing and itunes, server requirements for small home networks use peanuts. Minecraft i have no idea what's required of the server, if you could provide me some more info i might be able to help better.
  4. Minecraft will run on peanuts pretty much as well
  5. even those evil candy circus peanuts you get for Halloween???
  6. I have no idea what you're referring to. People have peanuts at Halloween?
