Help please, not starting properly

the motherboard green light is on, when booted the fans run for 5/6 seconds, its then stops for a few seconds and starts again.
There is no image when connected to a moniter.
I had to take off the heat sink for 2/4 of the ram sticks so the cpu cooler fits, but after testing each ram slot with one ram stick the problem is still the same
I had to be a little rough with the motherboard when fitting it in the micro atx case but there was no serious pressure.
When apply the processor I had to use alot of force and when pushing down it made some noise but I'm certain it was lined up

Too bad you dont have a motherboard with the error LED's it would tell you where POST is erroring. since you are not getting any beep codes i would say this is a power issue make sure all your connectors are seated properly if they are you may want to test your ATX connector for the proper voltages.
