Is it safe to build on a glass desk

I'm building my computer tomorrow and was just wondering if it's safe to build it on a glass desk (due to static etc). Iv already searched the net and seen various answers.

The desk legs are made out of metal.

Glass is a very bad conductor - meaning you won't have issues from static from the glass. You would still have to take precautions from transferring static from yourself (hands).

Yeah iv bought an anti-static wrist band so, was just wondering if glass was okay, glad it is . thanks mate
