Hi, new here.

Ive been a dedicated console gamer for years now and was looking forward to the next Xbox very much, then I heard about how itll still be outdated by PC gaming even before its release, so I did some research into PC hardware and decided that it was the place to go.

Ive learned a little bit about building PC's but obviously im a complete novice so thought id ask for some advice.

Could anyone compile a list of components I need to build a PC? So far ive looked at:

PSU
Motherboards
Processors
Graphics Cards
RAM
Towers

And thats all I got, just wanted to make sure I dont miss anything.

Thanks :)

Media input device, such as a dvd rom drive. (This is always an 'oh yeah...' thing for me)
Operating System

Also, don't forget about peripherals, such as monitors, mouse/keyboards, speakers/headphones, possibly a controller.
