Hello, I just built a new computer. My old one was very loud, i think the fans needed to be replaced. Anyhow my new system is very quiet. to the point where i am hearing things i never used to, but i believe they were just covered up by the louder fan noise.

Maybe this sound is normal, but i was wondering what it could be? During this recording my HD's were sleeping, and my main drive is an SSD.

The sound i am wondering about is the intermittent buzz sound.

maybe this is the CPU fan i thought? or the GPU. the recorder was between the 2.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

First off I would check that no cables are hitting any of the fan blades. If all of the cables are clear you should try opening the case and try to localize where the noise is coming from....most likely a old case fan, they start making random "noises" when" they get aged. Also could be PSU/CPU/GPU fans....open up the cover when it starts getting noisy and listen where the noise is coming from.
