Ok, I'm putting together a build as I type this out and I had 2 questions. First is. My motherboard is a GA-970A-UD3 by Gigabyte and my case is the CoolerMaster HAF 922 and I've been installing the reset, on/off swtich HD led etc... but I've come to this Power LED and my motherboard has 3 spots for it yet from my case there is only a positive and negetive wire.. no 3rd.. so how should I proceed with this? I don't want to ruin anything on my motherboard.

Any help or advice for this would be great. thanks!

There is no problem if you put the cables incorrectly. They will just not work. Please make sure that you read your motherboards manuals prior proceeding. From my experience I think that the two wires go to two ends of the 3 pin connector leaving the middle pin not connected.

Hope this helps!

Just connect the pos and neg cables into their respective slots on the mobo. you will be just fine. No need to worry about the third if your pwr switch does not provide it.
