  1. You best bet for low latency are the cheap ones coming out of asia using grade A- Apple Panels (up to 10 dead/stuck pixels)

    They have no extra circuitry than needed, only a DVI-D dual link port and only accept 2560x1440 resolution

    They come in around $3-400 dollors on ebay

  2. HP ZR40W - low response time, /very/ low input, excellent colors - I use it for photo editing (best calibrated IPS monitor I ever saw)
  3. I got 2 Dell 27" U2713HM and they are awesome, most 27" at that resolution will have some input lag but very negligible and sometimes you really don't notice it. You want a great colors and quality I suggest Dell 2713H/M (2 different ones) but HM is cheaper and just as great.
