I'm mulling over mboard choices with an eye to future upgradeability. Since I can't seem to find 512MB DDR333 sticks, I'm seriously looking at rdram boards.

Is there as much variability in rdram quality as there seems to be in DDR, etc? I find Samsung and Kingston most commonly.

What are the quality brands? I'd get Crucial, but they're in the opposite camp :frown:

You're debating between an SiS645 motherboard and an i850 board, I take it? Go for the i850, I say.

Samsung makes the best RDRAM, but Rambus imposes stricter limits on RDRAM manufacturing quality than is imposed for SDRAM (and DDR-SDRAM).
