New cpu of another gpu

Hello, I am trying to figure out whether I should get the AMD FX-8350 Vishera cpu or Another HIS IceQ X Turbo Radeon HD 6950 2GB. Here is the catch, my graphics card is discontinued, and there is 1 for sale at the same price as the Vishera.

My current specs:
AMD Phenom II X4 965 Processor @ 3.4 GHz
ASUS M5A97 AM3 AMD 970 MB
RAIDMAX RX-850AE 850W Psu
1 x HIS IceQ X Turbo Radeon HD 6950 2GB
Corsair Force Series GT 2.5" 120GB SSD
Seagate Barracuda 1.5TB 7200 RPM HDD
COOLER MASTER Storm Scout Computer Case

wait for new amd graphics cards soon and buy one of them. but if you must upgrade now then get the cpu and buy a new graphics card later.

Agreed with computer nerd your card is still pretty good and your cpu where it may be good isn't up to par with the current i5 chips. Otherwise I'd say you are golden. Its possible that the future cards will bottleneck your card as a note so it may not be a bad time to look into it.
