New motherboard wont beep/no post

Hello, I recently upgraded my motherboard from a gigabyte to a asrock z77 extreme 6. After getting all the pieces in place I went to fire it up and.... nothing. All the fans make a slight movement but that's it. No beep. No nothing. I've tried removing the you, the memory, I've checked every plug. I'm at a total loss. Did I just get a bad board? Also the board has a power and reset button next to a small led display that doesn't light up or do anything either. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are all the power plugs seated correctly?

As far as I can tell, they are all seated. I am at work at the moment so I will double check everything when I get home.
