During installation of MOHAA, my computer froze. When I restarted it, I
couldn't uninstall or reinstall the program. I've tried 'Add/Remove
Programs' in the Control Panel and I've tried using the game's installation
program, but nothing has worked. I've even tried manually deleting all the
files I can find on my C: drive. Does anybody know how to delete an
abandoned program?

Hi Brad,

Here's how to uninstall a game when using Add-Remove programs fails:

Step A: Start your computer in Safe Mode by holding down the F8 key.

Step B: Reinstall the game to the same folder it was installed to originally,
and then try to uninstall it again using Add-Remove programs. If
that fails, delete it's folder and any save games in My Documents.

Step C: Install and Run Regcleaner and if it finds any stray registry keys for the
game, delete them: http://www.majorgeeks.com/download460.html

Cheers,
Jimmy S.

Thank you Jimmy, that answered my question. RegCleaner is a very helpful
program, it helped take care of the installation problem and a few other
uninstallation problems as well.
