When the Nokia 9300, a very attractive high end smartphone, was
introduced, Nokia said that it would be available in an 850/1800/1900
version as well as a 900/1800/1900 version. So far it has not, which
means that American users who want one will be limited to using the 1900
band. When I called Nokia a while back, their explanation was that they
were waiting for one of the U.S. cell phone companies to agree to carry
the phone.

Does anyone have any more information on the subject?
