Hello fellow geeks. So a quick review so you know what I'm looking for. In about 2 weeks I am buying my first 3D monitor and I've been doing quite a bit of research on 3D lately and my current Radeon 6870 2GB won't be helping very much for 3D. The monitor will be coming with Nvidia 3D glasses.... Do I NEED an Nvidia GPU to use them? I intend to buy a new GPU either way, have always been a fan of AMD cards but seems the GTX 660Ti (I would LOVE a 670... out of the price range though) is the best bang for the buck in that price range. Any thoughts on the 660Ti, I would like to stay in the $200-$300 price range. Or I could/would spend a bit more to SLI/CF cheaper cards..... any advice on that? PC specs below.
PS. I'm using a 750W PSU keep that in mind for power consumption if recommending SLI/CF. Also note I game.... ALOT, and "higher" end titles.
