First time Build - appx $500

Hey all, this will be my first time building a PC, I have been all over newegg, TH forums, PCpartpicker for what seems like an eternity and yet I seem to struggle coming up with a decent build, so I'm hoping someone can craft something quick for me. Really not a big PC gamer ... last 2 games on my PC were witcher 2 and Diablo 3. I do edit / encode some videos so the PC should be able to take care of that. This is my backup PC (laptop gets used more) so not looking to spend alot. Much appreciated.

Approximate Purchase Date: Before the end of February

Budget Range: $500 all in

System Usage from Most to Least Important: web, HD movie viewing, video encoding, gaming

Are you buying a monitor: No

Parts to Upgrade: I have a HP m7640n if I can reuse any of it great otherwise all new. I will use the 1TB HDD i installed in it and use it on the new PC.

All of this should come out at around $500-530. The shipping confused me a bit, because I wasn't sure if those would be prices if I ordered them from the US. Anyways, Without shipping the total was about $460-470.
