Hello, The problem i'm having is my computer keeps crashing it just keeps freezing sometimes during game play and then sometimes during normal use and even during start up or shut down. I've even tried installing Ubuntu along side in a separate partition and that even failed. I believe it is a bad hard drive but it is the second one now so is there something with the computer that is causing hard drive to go bad.

Weak PSU and bad capacitors can also affect a hard drive. Check the hard drive with Hard Disk Sentinel to know it's condition for sure... if it detects it in good condition, it may need repairing bad sectors & fix file system errors (chkdsk), and deffragging ..
