i am looking for a USB thing that will pick up infra red remote controls.

i don't want one for IR transfers with laptops or pdas, but i do want one that i can program to recive from any remote control in my house that will be able to control somthing like winamp (so it needs to have software and be programamble)

i have spare remotes around my house that i want to use on it, so i don't really want one that comes witha new remote, just one that can be programmed in.
