Hey guys!

I pretty much got everything picked out, but I was wondering what everyone thought?
Are the mother board, and RAM a good choice?

Also would RAID 0 or RAID 5 be a better choice to install the OS, and programs on?
Or should I stick with just putting them on 1 SSD?

Mushkin- very under rated quality ram, you're good.

Raid 0- very fast, no protection
Raid 5- not as fast, still fast, but protected

Big bang Motherboard, make sure you have a case for that big thing haha.

this build is optimized for Corsair Link V2
you can read here http://www.corsair.com/us/blog/corsair-link-v2-features-and-functionality/
thats why i put corsair case, H100i, and AX 860i

840 pro SSD is really faaast. bringing 2 for raid is absolutely faster but comes with failure potential :) stick with one and be grateful for its speed

I may do RAID 5 then, cause I plan to put my OS, and programs on it...
Silly question, but..
If I lost my OS would I lose everything on my Hard Drive?

I was considering this case, but not sure if it will mix

I'll read up on that tomorrow, but why the change of parts?

Hmmm... I guess I'll just stick with non RAID with the SSD(s), and just use the second SSD for scratch/caching.

If you're referring to the SSD set up it would be because of the budget sort of.

I'm doing RAID 10 with the HDD(s).

You can't, but if it was recommended I was gonna add a third SSD! :)

Aha! Maybe, cause I'm also considering having an SSD for scratch/caching instead... But If I don't, then hello RAID 5!
I'm trying to save enough money, and splurge now so I don't have to upgrade for 1-2 years~ Cause once I move out, I won't have the luxury to save up/spend money on gear cx

SSD(s) are going down in price, and I believe in you man ;D
