6x 2560 by 1600 displays

quad CFX/SLI's scalability is terrible....

and it would run terribly. 2x GTX 680s in SLI can barely do BF3 in a triple 1080p monitor set-up in ultra at 60 fps... i think it would get 20 fps max on 6 monitors...

in all honestly, max settings are not going to be playable at that resolution for a few generations of cards

also I would say scale back to 5 monitor for ATI as they support 5x1 eyefinity then put the monitors into portrait mode (taller than wide) for 8000x2560 resolution (25:8 aspect ratio)

the performance doesn't scale linearly.

like having 4x7970s in CFX won't make it perform 4x better than 1x7970.

Because almost nobody drops $2k on 4 GPUS in their system so neither the game designers nor AMD/Nvidia bother to optimize things for 4-way SLI/CF.

4 GPU configs are for benchmarking only, not gaming.
