Hi all,

I'd like to build an intel system. I'm on a pretty tight budget though. I'd like to stay around $450. I have an old socket 754 amd system, so I can just use my current case, 450 watt power supply, optical drives, HDD, etc.

I need help picking out a good intel motherboard that I overclock with (nothing major, but I'd like to do some overclocking to make up for my budget), need a good i series processor that can overclock well, good heatsink, ram, and gpu (I'd like to stick with Nvidia as they seem to handle Flight Sim X a little better in my opinion, but I could be wrong).

Thanks for the help.

Heres a build I had already made up. If you are worried about the power supply, you can downgrade the gpu to a radeon 7770 OR get a 500w psu. However, I think it will run fine. Unfortunately, you can't overclock this cpu. If you want to overclock, you will have to get a i5 3570k which would put the system way over your budget.

I noticed you had some leftover parts. You can save the optical drive and the HDD if they use sata ports. I wouldn't use the old power supply because its old and they degrade over time. The case might work, but if its old its probably ugly lol.
