..would I be able to play DayZ at medium settings or even low settings? (In terms of FPS, I really have no care for the quality of the gameplay, as it is only a cosmetic feature.) I would like to achieve high FPS (say 50+ frames). More like 90+ frames would be amazing. If you could, go ahead and tell me what FPS I would be able to achieve at very low, low, medium, high and very high settings at the normal distance. Thank you.

System specs:

Video card: EVGA SuperClocked 02G-P4-2662-KR GeForce GTX 660 2GB 192-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card
Processor: Intel Core i7-3770 Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.9GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 77W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 4000 BX80637I73770
Video RAM: (Going to be 16GB of RAM)
Power supply: CORSAIR TX Series CMPSU-650TX 650W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Compatible

Other components haven't been selected, but this will be a self-built computer, after receiving a highly overpriced quote from Dell's Alienware computers.

Thanks.

Also, I am having a friend look these specs over and some suggested ones to see if I could make it more powerful for less. If you have any suggestions to make this machine better, please post them. Thanks.

Don't get an i7. Its useless for gaming because it performs no better than an i5. Get the i5 3570.

16gb of RAM is more than you need for gaming. Games use max 4gb so 8gb is the sweet spot for any gaming rig.

Use the saved money to get a better GPU. An hd 7950/gtx 670
