Looking for the perfect GPU

BUDGET RANGE: Under 500

USAGE: Gaming very recourse demanding games smoothly and in category such as Mass Effect 3, Uncharted 3, Borderlands 2 etc. at max graphics settings/quality without any lag at all

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1920 x 1080

If you could find a GPU that meets my "usage" requirements under $500 I would be grateful

There is a problem... I typed it up at newegg and like 30 different GPUs came up:
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&DEPA=0&Order=BESTMATCH&N=100006662&isNodeId=1&Description=Radeon+HD+7970&x=32&y=7
  5. Yeah buy the HD7970 and you're looking at 3 years of not wanting to upgrade. unless they come out with dx12 -.- and they're all the same gpu's just being sold by different brands like asus or gigabyte buy one with a giant cooler fan haha
  6. I love MSI cards and their twin frozr coolers, so I recommend this one (though it's more expensive) MSI R7970 PE http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127677

Also Sapphire has a very respectable reputation for AMD cards and prices are always low so this one also gets my vote SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 7970 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202008

The top 1 doesn't have very good feedback, although the 2nd one does grab my attention.
I forgot to ask u, why should I steer clear of the gHz edition?
This one is my favorite, I'm torn between the 2: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150632
It's only $50 cheaper and it's like one of the best ones on the market.
    What do you think?
